JEAN MONNET ACTIONS AT WIUT
Jean Monnet Actions run under Erasmus+ to support teaching, learning, research, and debates on European studies. These initiatives seek to increase conversation between academia and industries, promote EU policymaking, and contribute to a better understanding of EU ideas and policies.
Jean Monnet Actions at WIUT
WIUT has expanded the courses it offers in the BA in Commercial Law by including modules on European legal principles. WIUT has two ongoing projects under Jean Monnet Modules. Each project has had 36 months of development, but has had a lasting impact on EU Legal Studies. WIUT also has a Jean Monnet Chair, a teaching post specializing in EU Studies. Prof. Dr. Akbar Ismanjanov, Head of Law Department at Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT), holds this position and is recognized as a Jean Monnet Chair of the Central Asian Centre for European Trade Law (CACETL).
