Westminster International University in Tashkent held “The Most Active Student of the Year” competition, aimed at recognising and rewarding students for their outstanding achievements and active involvement in the University life.

The competition featured six categories, and winners were awarded trophies and valuable gifts.

On December 16, 2024, Westminster International University in Tashkent, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), successfully hosted a youth scientific forum focused on tackling antibiotic resistance. 

The event brought together talented young researchers from across Uzbekistan to share their insights, explore innovative solutions, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration. Participants presented groundbreaking studies addressing the challenges of AMR, with a special focus on prevention, control, and practical applications in healthcare.

The event brought students and staff together for an open-format discussion, offering a unique opportunity to engage with the celebrated artist. Attendees explored Anvar Juraev’s musical journey, gained valuable insights into his creative process, and asked questions about his career.

On December 10, 2024, Westminster International University in Tashkent hosted the “My Erasmus+ Exchange Experience” Storytelling Competition as part of Erasmus+ Day, celebrating 30 years of EU-Uzbekistan 🇺🇿🇪🇺 cooperation in higher education.

The competition gave students who participated in the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) programme the chance to share their exchange experiences through creative storytelling. Two Jean Monnet projects, namely the Jean Monnet Module EUCAD and the Jean Monnet Chair CACETL, were presented by their respective project coordinators. The top three winners, selected by the audience, received certificates, gifts, and the opportunity to be featured in the upcoming International Credit Mobility - 2024 publication.
