Jahongir Norimov | United States
BSc in Economics with Finance, Class of 2020

Based in Dallas, Texas, Jahongir Norimov has developed his career in corporate strategy and management consulting, combining his background in finance with strategic and analytical experience.

After completing his undergraduate degree, Jahongir worked at AKFA Group of Companies, where he progressed to the role of Manager in Corporate Strategy. Seeking to further develop his expertise, he continued his education at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, completing his MBA in 2025.

During his time at Fuqua, Jahongir was actively involved in academic and consulting activities. He led a consulting project with Fidelity Investments, managed a team of more than ten students, served as a Teaching Assistant across several core business courses, and supported fellow students pursuing careers in consulting. He was also recognised with Fuqua’s Supportive Ambition Award.

Jahongir’s journey with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) began as a Summer Consultant in Dallas in 2024. Following the completion of his MBA, he returned to BCG as a Consultant in 2025.

Today, Jahongir is based in Dallas, where he continues his professional career in management consulting at BCG.

Davron Muslimov | United States
BA in Commercial Law, Class of 2021

Based in the United States, Davron Muslimov has developed an international legal career spanning immigration law, international development, and legal consultancy. After graduating from WIUT in 2021, Davron continued his legal education at The George Washington University, where he earned an LL.M. in International Law and Legal Studies in 2022.

His professional journey has included experience with international organisations and development projects. He worked as an Investigative Analyst at the World Bank and later joined Eurasia Foundation as a Project Management Specialist, contributing to international development initiatives.

Davron is also the Founder of Davron Law Group, where his work focuses on U.S. immigration law.

Today, he continues to develop his legal career in the United States, bringing together his experience in international law, immigration, and international development.

Tolibjon Mustafoev | Sweden
BA in Commercial Law, Class of 2019

Based in Lund, Sweden, Tolibjon Mustafoev is pursuing an international academic career in socio-legal research, with experience spanning legal studies, research, and international organisations.

Following his undergraduate studies, Tolibjon continued his legal education at the Academy of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Uzbekistan and later studied at Lund University through an Erasmus+ semester exchange.

His research career has taken him across the Nordic region. He has held visiting researcher positions at Lund University and the University of Helsinki’s Aleksanteri Institute. His professional experience also includes working as a National Consultant for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

Since 2023, Tolibjon has been a PhD Candidate at Lund University, where he continues his academic and research work in the field of sociology of law.

Jahongir Sadiev | United States
BA in Business Administration, Class of 2019

From WIUT to Harvard, Jahongir Sadiev has built an academic and professional journey focused on international development, public policy, and data-driven decision-making. After completing his bachelor’s degree at WIUT, he continued his education in the United States.

In 2022, Jahongir began a master’s degree in Public Administration at Auburn University through the Fulbright Foreign Student Program, completing the programme in 2024. His academic and professional interests have included economic development, food security, green energy, infrastructure, and data-driven policymaking.

Jahongir then continued his academic journey at Harvard Kennedy School, joining the Master in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) programme. His studies have focused on areas including economics, econometrics, economic growth, and empirical approaches to policy decision-making.

Today, Jahongir is a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University, alongside his academic journey. He is also involved in initiatives that strengthen connections between Uzbekistan and Harvard and encourage greater representation of students from Uzbekistan and Central Asia at leading international universities.

Jahongir Rahmonov | Germany
BSc in Business Information Systems, Class of 2016

From WIUT to Germany, Jahongir Rahmonov has built an international career in software engineering, working with technology companies including Shift Technologies, Newmax Technologies, Super Dispatch, Delivery Hero, and Anaconda.

Jahongir credits his time at WIUT with shaping his career path. Although he initially planned to pursue economics, his first-year experience sparked his interest in IT, leading him to choose the field from his second year. He also found his first professional opportunity through a fellow WIUT alumnus, marking the beginning of his career in technology.

His professional journey later took him to Berlin, where he joined Delivery Hero in 2019, before moving to Anaconda in 2021.

Jahongir subsequently received an offer to join Amazon as a Software Engineer after an intensive selection process. To prepare, he spent around six months developing his technical skills and completed approximately 700 programming problems on LeetCode.

His journey reflects a career shaped by continuous learning, professional growth, and the decision to pursue the field he first discovered at WIUT.

Iskandar Anvarov | Netherlands
BSc in Business Information Systems, Class of 2017

From WIUT to Amsterdam, Iskandar Anvarov has built an international career in software engineering, progressing from development and team leadership roles to working at Amazon Web Services (AWS).

After graduating from WIUT in 2017, Iskandar developed his career in the technology sector, gaining experience in software development and team leadership. Before moving to the Netherlands, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer at EPAM Systems.

In 2022, Iskandar joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Software Engineer in Amsterdam. At AWS, he has contributed to the development and improvement of cloud services and internal technologies, working on projects involving Amazon Q Developer, AWS Resource Explorer, AWS Identity Center, and other AWS services. His work has included improving service scalability, reliability, regional availability, and supporting the launch of new technology solutions.

Today, Iskandar continues his professional journey in Amsterdam, contributing to large-scale technology projects at AWS and further developing his expertise in software engineering and cloud technologies.

Jasur Ziyautdinov | United States
BA in Commercial Law, Class of 2020

From WIUT to the United States, Jasur Ziyautdinov has built an international journey combining law, entrepreneurship, education, and technology.

After graduating from WIUT, Jasur continued his education at the University of Georgia, where he earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in 2023 and received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and Georgia Law International Scholar Award.

In 2020, Jasur founded Worldwide Consulting, an international education consultancy supporting students in pursuing study opportunities abroad. The company works across a range of international destinations and provides guidance throughout the university admission and visa application process.

Building on his experience in international education, Jasur later founded Visapproved.ai, an EdTech start-up focused on AI-powered solutions for student mobility and visa processes.

Today, Jasur is based in the United States, where he continues to develop his entrepreneurial projects at the intersection of international education, technology, and student mobility.

Khayot Khalikov | United States
BA in Commercial Law, Class of 2021

From WIUT to New York, Khayot Khalikov has built an international journey spanning law, education, entrepreneurship, and youth engagement.

During his time at WIUT, Khayot served as Secretary-General of the Students’ Union and was twice elected President of the WIUT Research Society. Beyond the University, he participated in more than 30 international projects in different roles, including as a chairman, judge, adjudicator, and speaker. He was also involved in youth empowerment initiatives of the Youth Agency of Uzbekistan and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Regional Office for Central Asia.

In 2019, Khayot launched Westminster Academy, where he serves as CEO. The academy has worked with educational organisations including IDP IELTS, the British Council, TESOL Asia, and Cambridge Assessment English.

After graduating from WIUT, Khayot continued his education in the United States, earning a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Penn State University in 2023.

Today, Khayot is based in New York, where he works as an Immigration Law Clerk at the Law Office of Olena Manilich, P.C.
