Central Asian Law Forum at WIUT
On the 26th of May, 2023, WIUT hosted Central Asia Law Forum on "The legal framework at the time of change: Central Asia, Europe, UK, and Global Relations". The purpose of the Central Asian Law Forum is to study the legal regulation of international trade and investment, assess the dynamics of trade relations in the light of changes in trade routes, in connection with the revision of the role of Central Asia in the world.
The Forum is a platform for the exchange of views between scholars, lawyers, legal practitioners and government stakeholders aimed at sharing regulatory models and best practices in Central Asia, the European Union, the United Kingdom and around the world. In addition, Jean Monnet Chair of the Central Asian Centre for European Trade Law (CACETL) of the European Commission at Westminster International University in Tashkent supported this conference.
WIUT supports Corporate Social Responsibility in Uzbekistan
Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) held a roundtable on the “Role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Uzbekistan”.
During the discussions, CSR experts from private and international organisations, the government, civil society and the academic community exchanged ideas and defined ways forward for future research and practice on this important topic.
The event focused on CSR and its potential benefits, barriers for CSR implementation and the potential role of the government, businesses and universities to develop CSR in Uzbekistan.


Tashkent Business & Economics Conference (TBEC)
The Tashkent Business & Economics Conference (TBEC) provides a dynamic platform for discussing recent research advances in Economics, Finance, Business, Management, Marketing and related areas. The conference is a joint initiative between Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) and the University of Westminster, London. The conference aims to understand current and future changes in the business world – to identify policy strategies for strengthening regional and global economic integration and cooperation. The conference also invites business practitioners, representatives of government and the public sector, development agencies, non-governmental organizations to share their knowledge and experiences and to discuss the future of businesses and economies in Central Asia and beyond.
