Westminster International University in Tashkent was pleased to host O‘tkir Yusupov, goalkeeper of the Uzbekistan National Football Team, for a special guest lecture organised for students.
The event gave students a valuable opportunity to hear first-hand about his journey in professional football, the demands of competing at the highest level, and the commitment required to represent one’s country on the international stage. Students also had the chance to learn more about the Uzbekistan National Team’s broader World Cup journey, including its historic qualification for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the team’s ongoing preparations for the tournament.
