On 11 December, Westminster International University in Tashkent, in cooperation with British Council Uzbekistan, hosted a panel discussion on “Implementation of SDG Strategies in Organisations.” The event brought together voices from WIUT and industry to examine how sustainable development goals are translated into practice across different sectors.
The panel featured WIUT alumnus Jakhongir Pulatov (Founder & CEO, Cambridge Learning Centre), Sanobar Khudaybergenova (Corporate Affairs Manager, Coca-Cola Uzbekistan) and Sanjar Maksudov (Marketing Director, Bahor Gullari and current Level 6 student at WIUT). Each speaker shared practical examples of how their organisations embed sustainability, social responsibility and ethical governance into everyday operations.
The session concluded with a lively Q&A, giving students the opportunity to engage directly with an accomplished alumnus, a peer balancing study and professional success, and an industry expert.
