Tashkent International Model United Nations Conference (TIMUN) 2023 marked a triumphant culmination of diplomatic engagement, global awareness, and youth empowerment. Hosted by the TIMUN Society at Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT), the event attracted nearly 600 participants, including delegates from Tashkent, the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and all 12 regions of Uzbekistan. Impressively, around 80 delegates from 14 nations across Europe, North America, Africa, Central and South Asia showcased a remarkable dedication to fostering intercultural understanding.
The conference garnered support from influential entities, including UN Agencies such as UN Women, United Nations Population Fund, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, and the UN Regional Coordinator's Office in Uzbekistan. Key public and private sectors, including the Youth Affairs Agency of Uzbekistan and Artel Electronics, actively participated, underscoring their commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
