High-Level Uzbekistan – United Kingdom Education Forum 2024
The second Uzbekistan-UK Education Forum is held between March 4-5, 2024. Organized through a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the British Council in Uzbekistan, the University of Westminster, and Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT), this forum serves as a key platform to address fundamental priorities within higher education in both Uzbekistan and the UK.
Discussions centred on the impact of higher education policies, practices, and partnerships, highlighting their critical role in advancing academic excellence, fostering global cooperation and positive change. Moreover, the forum enabled the signing of two Memorandums of Understanding between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Advance Higher Education (UK) as well as the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA UK).
