Dr. Komiljon Karimov appointed as Rector of WIUT
On April 5, 2024, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan Kongratbay Sharipov visited Westminster International University in Tashkent to announce the appointment of Dr. Komiljon Karimov as the new Rector of Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT).
In this post, he replaced Bakhrom Mirkasimov, who held the office between 2020-2024 term.
Prior to this appointment, Dr. Komiljon Karimov served as First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During 2015-2020, he served as Rector of WIUT.
