Khurshid Kodirov, BA Business Management, 2016 is the winner of the Business & Innovation Award in the Study UK Alumni Awards 2021-22.
Another two WIUT Graduates were finalists in this year’s Study UK Alumni Awards:
Angelitta Trofimova, BSc Economics with Finance, 2020 (Business and Innovation Award) and Kamila Alimdjanova, MA International Business Management, 2013 (Social Action Award).
We are all very proud that out of this year’s six finalists, three of them were WIUT Alumni!
This is the 8th year the British Council has held this prestigious award, celebrating the outstanding achievements of the UK’s international alumni around the world.
The Study UK Alumni Awards are open to alumni living anywhere outside of the UK. Award winners and finalists are leaders in their fields who have used their experience of studying at a UK university to make a positive contribution to their communities, industries and countries.
Business and Innovation Award
Khurshid Kodirov, Winner
Khurshid is an operations management specialist. During the past two years as Lead Project Manager and Founder of Nyon Consulting Group LLC and CEO of Bilim Tech LLC, he has contributed to opening a university and an information technologies academy.
Angelitta Trofimova, Finalist
Angelitta Trofimova is a Specialist in the Business Support and Financial Settlements department of the IT company “Humans”. Angelitta plans to continue her studies through a Master’s degree, implement a volunteering project to help and protect animals as well as open an eco-friendly community to activate people against global warming in Uzbekistan.
Social Action Award
Kamila Alimdjanova, Finalist
Kamila is a development professional with 12 years of diversified experience in programme and project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, financial management in UN system. Kamila currently supports the growth and development of SMEs within the EBRD “Advice for Small Businesses” programme.
