MA-diploma.jpgAn Internationally Recognised Master Degree in International Business and Management (MAIBM) is a British Masters degree awarded by the University of Westminster in London and delivered at Westminster International University in Tashkent. The course content reflects the increasing globalisation of both the knowledge and practice base of business and management education and this international perspective is applied to all the main functional areas of business.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

It is designed for students with some initial business experience and whose first degree is in a subject other than business. ASSESSMENT

Student performance is assessed by a variety of means, including exams, assignments, presentations and projects. All assessment is moderated by the University of Westminster to ensure the highest standards.

COURSE DATES AND FEE

The course can be studied over 12 months (full time) or 24 months (part time) and begins with an induction programme. There are two intakes a year: autumn (October) and winter (January).

The tuition fee for the whole course is USD 9,800 – the same for both the 12 and 24 month options.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

For entry to MA in International Business and Management the following requirements must be met:

  • Age requirement
  • Be at least 22 years of age on the day of enrolment.

  • First degree requirement
  • A first (bachelors) degree in any subject at the level of a Lower Second Class Honours (UK) or overseas equivalent.

  • English language requirement
  • If your first degree was not taught and assessed in English, you will need an IELTS score of at least 6.5 or TOEFL score of Paper based 600 / CBT 250 / IBT 100.

HOW TO APPLY

The first stage is simply to complete an application form in hard copy or by e-mail to the Registrar’s office admission@wiut.uz.

You will be invited to an interview if you fulfill the basic criteria (for the English language requirement it is sufficient if you have registered for an IELTS or TOEFL test)

If you pass the interview you will be given an offer - conditional if you are still awaiting an IELTS or TOEFL result.

You only need to bring originals of certificates and photographs when you enrol, details of enrolment will be given once you have been accepted onto the course.
