Interview Format

The selection process in WIUT is conducted in a form of panel interview. How to prepare?

Before the panel interview, don’t forget to do the following:

  • Carefully read and analyze the job description
  • Do the background check about the University – history, available courses, relationships between WIUT and the University of Westminster, etc.
  • Understand yourself – what you have to offer, why you have applied for this role, how this role will help drive your career, what skills and/ or knowledge do you have to bring to the position, your strengths and development points
  • Anticipate likely questions – The key to a successful interview is preparation. While you can’t predict every question you’ll be asked, in most situations you can anticipate at least 50% of the questions. Prepare answers for these typical interview questions, and practice answering them.
  • Develop meaningful questions to ask – at the end of the interview, it is likely that you will be given the chance to put your own questions to the interviewer. Your questions indicate your level of interest in the job.
