Current Position and Responsibilities at WIUT
Farhod Karimov is the module leader of Creating and Delivering Customer Value and Principles of Marketing. He is responsible for the day-to-day management and organisation of a module within the programme. He plays a major role in identifying the module team, working with a module team to ensure quality and comparability of student experience. Farhod Karimov is also responsible for designing the teaching and learning approaches, identifying resource requirements and revising and updating the content and assessment of the module. Shortly, he ensures that modules are assessed according to the requirements stated in the validated version of the module.
As a personal tutor, Farhod Karimov provides tutoring and support for a particular group of students and the role and its associated responsibilities are: to enable students to develop academic self-development skills and to support the students intellectually, group tutorials are used to encourage discussions around the academic process, levels of academia and study skills needed in order to achieve high performance in education.

Farhod Karimov’s research interests are: customer loyalty, advertising, pricing, operations and cross-cultural issues in marketing. In particular, he is interested in how companies can create or enhance the value of their offerings in order to increase financial performance of the company. Also, cross-cultural differences in responses to functional vs. emotional advertising campaigns, and research on emerging markets. Following are some areas of his research interests:
