University of World Economy and Diplomacy

One of the most successful training projects of the academic year 2007 can be considered a workshop for the teaching staff of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. The workshop was delivered in two steps and lasted for 2 months. The first stage was devoted to teachers presentation skills. During this period participants were given plenty opportunities to practice their skills of structuring and presenting teaching materials to students. Workshop facilitators provided constructive feedback to each participants. During the second part of the workshop participants explored effective teaching strategies. There were many lively discussions about the role of the teacher in higher education nowadays. The training team was impressed by openness and enthusiasm of the young teachers. We hope that we will be able to continue working together this year.
