English as a foreign language - EFL levels
Below we have shown how the EFL levels we use for our courses correspond with IELTS bands. In order to enrol for a particular course you must achieve the minimum stated level for that course in the placement test.

| Upper-intermediate | “I can communicate reasonably effectively but do not always understand what people say.” | 5.0-5.5 |
| Intermediate | “I can speak and understand what people say in familiar situations but I have problems with complex grammar and vocabulary.” | 4.0-4.5 |
| Pre-intermediate | “I can communicate simply when I am in everyday, familiar situations.” | 3.0-3.5 |
| Elementary | “I can talk a little and understand people if they speak free access to English language study materials on the internet slowly and clearly.” | 2.0-2.5 |
