Scholarships

Scholarships are only available to citizens of Uzbekistan. There is limited number of scholarships. To find out more about that please contact the university.To apply for a scholarship at WIUT applicants are required to submit the following documents:

  1. Application form
  2. 8 passport-sized photos (3.5×4.5)
  3. IELTS certificate (if the applicant does not have one, then the registration paper for IELTS)
  4. Copy of Passport with the page of local residence registration stamp
  5. Medical certificate, form 086
  6. Copy of Military registration card (for male applicants only)
  7. Letter (ñïðàâêà) from the lyceum/college to confirm that the applicant is graduating (or graduated).
  8. Paper folder and envelope

Scholarships are based on academic merit:

  • Scholarships are based on a candidate’s IELTS score and the score in the Scholarship Exam.
  • The IELTS score is weighted 60% and the Scholarship exam 40%.  The Scholarship criteria is approved by the WIUT Academic Council.

The IELTS is an independent test. The Scholarship exam is approved and marked by the University of Westminster.

The Scholarship Board will announce the results in the last week of August.
